About Our Ministry

Picture: Basilea Group PictureThe English Ministry of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth was started back in the early 90’s with the vision of providing a place of worship for students once they graduated from the Youth Group. The original name for the ministry was “ELM” which served a dual purpose.

A Word From Our Pastor

Picture: Rev. Isaac AhnThank you for visiting our site! I hope that you can worship with us one day and meet us in person. We are a young and small ministry but we worship an eternal and huge God. I therefore have big hopes and dreams for our ministry, and for our world.

What Does Basilea Mean?

Picture: Basilea MinistriesBasilea is the Greek word for “kingdom.” We recently changed our name from ELM (English Language Ministry) to Basilea Ministries because we felt that we needed a new identity. Instead of having an identity that shows the language in which we worship, we wanted an identity that shows our purpose and vision.
